Solar Oven Baked Nachos

Easy and fun oven baked nachos recipe in the GoSun Fusion solar oven

Equipment

  • 1 Solar Oven

Ingredients

  • 10 oz tortilla chips
  • 4 oz sharp cheddar cheese grated
  • 4 oz Monterey jack cheese grated

Instructions

  • Shred your cheese. Mix the cheese together in a bowl.
  • Layer half the chips into the cooking tray. Cover with half of the shredded cheese. Repeat this once more until you have two layers of chips and two layers of cheese.
  • Put cooking tray into preheated solar oven. Cook for 40 minutes.
  • Remove and serve promptly with your choice of sides and toppings.

Notes

Note: Do not use the bagged pre-shredded cheese for this. Pre-shredded cheese is coated with anti-caking ingredients. The coating can make the cheese melt a little less smoothly and sometimes give it a slightly grainy or dry texture.
