Sun Oven BBQ Pork Ribs

Make fall-off-the-bone ribs in your Sun Oven

Equipment

  • 1 Sun Oven
  • 1 Grill Optional. Any type.

Ingredients

  • 1 Rack Pork ribs baby back or spare

Instructions

  • Prepare ribs. Remove membrane from back side. Remove any broken ends or loose bone fragments.
  • Apply light coat of yellow mustard by hand. Then apply dry spice rub. Refrigerate until about 30-60 minutes prior to cooking.
  • Heat grill to high. Put ribs on grill under direct heat. About 2 minutes per side, or until you see some darkening on the ribs. Remove.
  • Add ribs into a cooking pot. You may have to cut the rack of ribs in half.
  • Cook at 300-350 for one hour.
  • Lower temp to 200-225 for two hours. After one hour, remove ribs from Sun Oven and apply your mop sauce (optional). Put back into Sun Oven for the rest of the time.
  • Remove from Sun Oven and enjoy!
