Crustless Solar Egg Quiche

Delicious and highly customizable egg quiche recipe for your solar oven

Equipment

  • 1 Sun Oven
  • 1 Muffin pan with 6 spaces Ramekins or enamelware mugs will work

Ingredients

  • 1 cup Milk whole or 2%
  • 3 Eggs at room temperature
  • ¾ cup Gruyere cheese grated
  • ¼ cup Parmesan cheese freshly grated
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Cayenne

Instructions

  • Set Sun Oven out to preheat
  • Spray muffin pan with cooking spray.
  • Gently heat the milk until just warm. About 5 minutes in the Sun Oven will do.
  • Combine all ingredients and beat until well blended. Divide mixture evenly into muffin pan. Place muffin pan in Sun Oven and bake in SO 25 to 30 minutes.
  • After 30 minutes remove from oven and let cool. Serve warm at room temperature.
